01Overview

BatchCost works without an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated app server. PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD does not collect, upload, sell, or share the business and recipe data entered in the app.

02Data Stored on Your Device

Business names, contact lines, selected logos, ingredient prices and quantities, recipe details, labor and fee settings, customer labels, quote amounts, order notes, and app preferences are stored locally on the user's iPhone or iPad using Apple platform storage. This data is not transmitted to Pure Insight or a third party.

03Exports and Sharing

PDF quotes, price-card images, and CSV backups are created locally. They leave the device only when the user explicitly selects a destination in Apple's system share sheet. The privacy terms of the selected destination apply after sharing. Free exports may include a BatchCost credit and a QR code linking to the public BatchCost product page; they do not transmit app data to that page.

04Photos

BatchCost Pro can use Apple's system photo picker so the user can choose a business logo. The app receives only the image the user selects and stores it locally for customer-facing exports. It does not scan or upload the photo library.

05Subscriptions and Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. BatchCost reads verified StoreKit entitlements to unlock Pro features, but PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD does not receive payment card details. Apple's policies govern App Store transaction records.

06Tracking and Advertising

BatchCost does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, behavioral profiling, or tracking domains.

07Deleting Your Data

Use Settings > Delete all data to remove ingredients, recipes, quotes, and the business profile from the device. Deleting the app also removes its local records unless the user exported them. App Store purchase records remain managed by Apple.

08Business and Food-Safety Responsibility

BatchCost is a calculation and record-keeping tool. It does not provide tax, accounting, legal, nutrition, allergen, or food-safety advice. Users remain responsible for checking their inputs, local cottage-food and labeling rules, taxes, permits, and safe food-handling requirements.
