Frequently asked questions

How do I start a sale?

Create a sale, enter the property and commission, then add inventory. TagLedger assigns the next tag number automatically. The included sample sale lets you explore without creating an account.

What are the free plan limits?

The free workspace supports one draft or active sale with up to 40 tagged items. Checkout, audit history, settlement reports, and backups remain available. Closed sales do not prevent you from starting the next sale.

What does TagLedger Pro include?

Pro removes the active-sale and item limits for operators carrying larger inventories or running overlapping properties.

Is there a trial or introductory price?

No. TagLedger displays the regular monthly and annual Google Play prices before purchase, with no free trial or introductory offer.

How do I restore or cancel Pro?

Use Restore Google Play purchase in TagLedger Settings. To cancel or manage renewal, open Google Play, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select TagLedger. Access continues for the paid period shown by Google Play.

Does TagLedger process buyer card payments?

No. The tender field records how a buyer paid. Card — external terminal means the actual payment was processed separately on your existing terminal.

What happens when I void a checkout?

The sold items return to available inventory, the checkout is marked void, and the audit record remains visible. Settlement totals exclude voided checkouts.

How do settlement reports work?

The Settlement tab calculates gross sales, commission, and consignor payout from non-voided checkouts. Export settlement report creates a PDF in the location you choose.

How do I move records to another device?

In Settings, choose Save ledger backup and store the .tagledger file safely. On the destination device, choose Restore from backup. Restoring replaces the destination device's current ledgers, so save a backup there first if needed.

Where is my data stored?

Sale records and imported item photos remain in TagLedger's private storage on your Android device unless you explicitly export a report or backup.
