1. Overview
HomeHours is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated app server. PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD does not collect, upload, sell, or share homeschool records through the app.
2. Learning Records Stored on Your Device
Learner names, grade labels, subjects, school-year goals, lesson dates, durations, and notes are stored locally on the user's device with Apple platform storage. This app data is not transmitted to PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD or a third party.
3. Reports and Sharing
PDF and CSV reports are created locally. They leave the device only when the user explicitly chooses a destination in Apple's system share sheet. The selected destination's privacy terms apply after sharing.
4. Notifications
The optional weekly record reminder is scheduled locally using Apple's notification APIs. No learner name, lesson, reminder setting, or notification schedule is sent to our servers.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. HomeHours reads the verified StoreKit entitlement needed to unlock Plus features, but PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD does not receive payment card details. Apple's policies govern App Store transaction records.
6. Tracking and Advertising
HomeHours does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, behavioral profiling, or tracking domains.
7. Deleting Your Data
Use Settings > Delete all HomeHours data to remove learners, subjects, school-year settings, and learning sessions from the device. Deleting the app also removes its local records unless the user exported them. App Store purchase records remain managed by Apple.
8. Children's Privacy
HomeHours is intended for parents, guardians, and educators to maintain records. The app has no account and does not collect information from children or anyone else. Adults remain responsible for the names and notes they choose to enter and export.
9. Record-Keeping Responsibility
HomeHours is a general record-keeping tool, not legal or educational advice. Homeschool requirements vary by location. Users remain responsible for verifying attendance, hour, subject, portfolio, and reporting rules with the appropriate authority.
