How do I start a pumping session?
On Today, tap Start pumping. You can pause, resume, choose both sides or one side, and finish when ready. To record an earlier session, use the add menu and choose Add pump manually.
How do I add milk to the shelf?
Tap Add stored milk from Today or the plus button on Shelf. Enter the volume, expressed date, location, and an optional label or note. You can also add milk to the shelf while finishing a pump.
What does Use Next mean?
MilkShelf ranks available containers by their dates and storage context so the oldest applicable milk appears first. This is an organizational prompt only; always follow current local storage guidance.
Can I use only part of a container?
Yes. Open the container, tap Use milk, and enter the amount used. MilkShelf keeps the remaining amount and records the inventory event.
How is the stash-duration estimate calculated?
MilkShelf divides the currently available volume by the daily-use assumption in Settings. It is a planning estimate, not a feeding recommendation or medical target.
What does the free version include?
Free includes the complete pump timer and manual records, up to 20 active refrigerator or freezer containers, seven days of history and trends, and one local pumping reminder.
What does MilkShelf Pro include?
Pro adds unlimited active containers and history, additional storage states, fourteen-day trends, a stash goal, custom shelf-life assumptions, unlimited reminders, an oldest-milk reminder, CSV and PDF reports, and versioned JSON backup and restore.
How much does MilkShelf Pro cost?
The planned US list price is $3.99 per month or $24.99 per year. There is no free trial or introductory offer. App Store prices may vary by country, taxes, and currency.
How do I restore or manage a subscription?
Open Settings in MilkShelf and choose Restore purchases. To manage or cancel, open iPhone or iPad Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and select MilkShelf.
Where are my records stored?
MilkShelf stores records on the iPhone or iPad. There is no MilkShelf account, cloud sync, developer server, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.
How do I make or restore a backup?
MilkShelf Pro users can open Settings, then Export and backup. Complete backup creates a versioned JSON file. Restore a JSON backup replaces current MilkShelf records only after an explicit confirmation.
How do I delete my data?
Delete MilkShelf from the device to remove its locally stored records. Files you previously exported or backed up are controlled by the destination where you saved them.
