Where is my bookkeeping data stored?

PennyTap stores your main ledger data on your device using SwiftData. The widget uses a small local App Group snapshot so it can show monthly statistics.

Does PennyTap automatically sync across devices?

No. The first release supports iCloud manual backup and restore for Pro users. It is not automatic multi-device sync.

How do I create a local backup?

Open Settings, then use Share backup file. This creates a JSON backup that you can save or share.

What does PennyTap Pro include?

Pro includes CSV import, CSV export, and iCloud manual backup and restore. Core bookkeeping and local JSON backup remain available in the free version.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings, tap Manage membership, then tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used for purchase.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your Apple ID, tap Subscriptions, choose PennyTap, then cancel the subscription.

What import formats are supported?

The first release supports CSV import with date, type, amount, category, account, ledger, and note columns.

How do I protect my ledger?

Open Settings and enable Privacy lock. PennyTap uses device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID through Apple's local authentication system.
