01Overview

Truessay is operated by PURE INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY LTD. The app does not require a named account, does not contain advertising, and does not sell personal information. It uses a pseudonymous device account so the research service, usage limits, purchases, and restored entitlements can work.

02Information We Process

We process a randomly generated device identifier and pseudonymous user identifier, app and operating-system version, locale and country code, research prompts and settings, source-search terms, selected paper metadata, generated drafts, export requests, service events, and Apple transaction identifiers. We do not receive your full Apple payment-card details.

03How We Use Information

We use this information to interpret research requests, find academic sources, generate and export drafts, maintain a local and server-side generation record, enforce free-use and abuse limits, deliver and restore purchases, diagnose failures, protect the service, and respond to support requests.

04Service Providers and Academic Sources

Truessay uses Cloudflare infrastructure for API processing, storage, security, and AI generation. Search terms and public paper metadata may be sent to OpenAlex and Crossref to retrieve academic records. Apple processes App Store purchases and sends transaction status to our service. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

05On-Device Data

Your Truessay library, preferences, and exported files are stored on your device. You control files that you export or share. Deleting the app removes its ordinary on-device data, although Keychain identifiers and Apple transaction history can persist as designed by Apple.

06Payments and Entitlements

Apple manages purchases and subscriptions. We receive product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, refund or revocation status, and a pseudonymous account token so we can grant credits or time-limited access, restore purchases, prevent duplicate delivery, and respond to renewals and refunds.

07Retention and Deletion

We retain service records only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Truessay, restore purchases, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. To request deletion of server-side research content or your pseudonymous account data, contact support@pureinsight.co from the device concerned and include the short Device ID shown in Truessay Settings. Apple transaction records are controlled by Apple.

08No Advertising Tracking or Sale

Truessay does not use advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites for advertising, and does not sell or rent personal information. Product analytics are first-party service events used to understand reliability and the in-app research funnel.

09Security and International Processing

We use transport encryption, restricted service credentials, transaction verification with Apple, and access controls designed to protect information. Internet services cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Cloud infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

10Children's Privacy

Truessay is rated for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

11Your Choices and Contact

You can choose what research text to submit, delete local library items, manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@pureinsight.co. We may update this policy and will change the Last Updated date when we do.
