How does Truessay work?
Enter a research question or assignment. Truessay interprets the requirements, searches OpenAlex and Crossref for relevant papers, lets you review the research direction and outline, and then creates a source-backed preview.
What can I use for free?
The current free allowance is one source-backed preview per day. Product availability and exact limits are shown in the app and may change as the service develops.
Does Truessay guarantee every claim is correct?
No. Truessay links drafts to real academic records, but AI can still misinterpret a paper or make an unsupported statement. Open the DOI or source record, check the cited paper, and follow your institution's academic-integrity rules before submitting work.
Which languages and citation styles are supported?
Truessay supports 10 output languages and common styles including APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE, and GOST. You can change language and citation style for each project.
What purchase options are available?
Depending on your storefront, Truessay can offer single or multi-credit packs, a four-month Term Pass, and Monthly Access. Apple displays the exact local price before purchase. Legacy monthly and annual subscriptions remain honored for existing subscribers but are not offered to new customers in the current paywall.
How do credits work?
Credits unlock full-length work when you do not have an active pass or subscription. The required credit amount depends on document type and length and is shown before generation.
How long does the Term Pass last?
The Term Pass provides full access for 120 days from its original Apple purchase date. Restoring the purchase does not restart or extend that period.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Upgrade or Settings in Truessay and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Active legacy subscriptions are also recognized.
How do I cancel Monthly Access?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Truessay, and tap Cancel Subscription. Access remains available until the current paid period ends.
Which export formats are available?
Unlocked projects can be exported as Microsoft Word DOCX, PDF, or Markdown files. LaTeX export is not currently offered by the iPhone app.
My purchase or restore is not working. What should I do?
Confirm that your internet connection is working and that you are signed into the correct Apple Account, then try Restore purchases again. If it still fails, contact support@pureinsight.co and include the short Device ID from Settings.
How can I request deletion of server-side data?
Email support@pureinsight.co from the device concerned and include the short Device ID shown in Truessay Settings. We will verify the request and remove eligible research and pseudonymous account data, subject to transaction, fraud-prevention, and legal retention requirements.
